Nectar Yoga Retreat is a healing space that sits on 20 acres of forested land on Bowen Island, just a short 20 minute ferry ride from Vancouver. We acknowledge and honour that Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island) is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation.

The owner's life's work is the stewardship of this land, to care for and know its forests and waterways. With this as the foundation, Nectar Yoga Retreat draws travellers, leaders, and brands from metro Vancouver and all over the world, offering overnight stays, retreat experiences, and meaningful programs. By holding space for guests to slow down, the intention is to seed consciousness that naturally comes from immersing oneself in the land.

The modern, Scandinavian-inspired cottages provide the container for an easeful getaway in nature. Rest and recharge among the Alder trees, and vast varieties of Pacific Northwest flora and fauna.

Where is the retreat taking place?
The retreat is held at Nectar Yoga Retreat on beautiful Bowen Island, BC—just a short ferry ride from Vancouver.

Who is this retreat for?
Anyone seeking peace, clarity, and reconnection. Whether you’re experiencing burnout or simply need time to reset, this space is for you.

Do I need experience with yoga or meditation?
Not at all! All practices are beginner-friendly and guided gently. You are welcome exactly as you are.

What’s included?

• 2 nights accommodation at Nectar Yoga
• All plant-based meals (dinner on arrival day to breakfast on departure day)

How do I get to Bowen Island?
Take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver) to Snug Cove, Bowen Island. Travel instructions will be provided after booking. If needed, I can help you connect to a carpool with other attending guests before the retreat.

What kind of food will be served?
Delicious and nourishing plant-based meals will be created and served by our preferred caterer. All meals are served in our Onyx Lodge at our long table.
Our menus change with the seasons, so you can expect to enjoy delicious, enticing plant-based foods that reflect the bounty of the land. Most allergies can be accommodated, although we cannot cater to special diets like “Keto or Smoothies only”. All dishes can be made with vegan and/or gluten-free options. Nectar Yoga’s kitchen is a strictly meat and fish free facility. Please specify your dietary restrictions before arrival.

Can I come alone?
Yes! Many guests attend solo. You’ll be warmly welcomed into a kind, supportive community.

What should I bring?
You’ll receive a full packing list after registration. Essentials include comfy clothes, a journal, and any personal comfort items. Yoga props are provided.

Will there be free time?
Yes. This retreat is designed with spaciousness in mind. You’ll have time to rest, journal, walk in nature, or simply be.

Is there Wi-Fi or cell service?
Cell service and Wi-Fi are available. Although, we encourage you to unplug to support your nervous system and deepen your experience.

Is this a women-only retreat?
No. This retreat is open to all genders and identities.

Can I pay in instalments?
Yes! Reach out for support if you would like to pay in two instalments.

What’s your cancellation policy?
We understand life happens and will work with you as best we can. 

• All payments are fully refundable until July 20th, 2025, less the 3% Stripe payment processing fee if paid by credit card.
• If/when the retreat sells out, I can offer you a full refund after the cut-off date, less a $200 fee for the extra time, advertising, and payment processing fees associated with refilling the cabin/room.
• I will always do my best to fill cancelled spots and there is typically a waitlist willing to take spots if necessary.

How many people will be attending?
This is an intimate retreat with 10–14 participants for a cozy and personalized experience.

Will you open a waitlist if/when the retreat is fully booked?
Yes! We will have a waitlist and will let you know if a spot opens up. Please reach out here if you would like to be placed on the waitlist.
